I hope you like my new blog design! I wanted something that was a little bit easier to read since the font was, well, very curly-cue, to say the least. If you're new here, welcome! :)
I have taken a brief hiatus from the blog. I have been in this hellish funk for several weeks. Not exactly sure why, I have mild situational depression occasionally and that could be why. I have also been ridiculously snowed in for the past few weeks. As in over a foot of snow and sub-zero temperatures. I recently ventured out into the land of the living and I couldn't have been more thrilled.
I went to Supplement Superstores to get one of the meds that was out. It was nice to see the guys and talk to them for a few minutes, even though they had their fair share of customers today. Apparently, word has got out about how awesome they are. :-)
I have also gotten down to 186 during the hiatus. That means that I am down 45 pounds officially since starting in August. Also, this is the lowest weight I have been since 2010. I have to lose another 10 pounds to get to my all-time lowest weight. In 2003 I got down to 177 but I was super sick and adjusting to a pretty drastic change in my medications (I have Asperger's but I have been misdiagnosed with a half-dozen other things too, and that was after one diagnosis. I still take a few scrips to keep me nice and agreeable, lol!) where my appetite drastically decreased. That is not a fun way to lose weight and I wouldn't recommend it! But still, if I pass that eating healthy and exercising I will be very proud of that weight loss.
Tomorrow my fiancé and I are spending the day together. :-) He has been working hard and has been dominating at his job, and I have been dominating a little less than he has, but we are still looking forward to hanging out. I think we will be cooking, and making some baked ziti, a salad, and whatever we can muster for dessert. I have recently tried the gluten-free snickerdoodle cookies from Enjoy Life (how could you not love them with that name?) and they are amazeballs! I have a love/hate relationship with gluten-free cookies though, I love them, but they go away quickly, and I hate that! So sometimes it is better to keep the gluten-free goodies out of the house, lol! :-)
I have been working out a little bit today, if you count 45 girly push-ups with the kittehface a workout (and yes I counted, it was part of the game). I tend to get pretty active when playing with animals, I am all over the floor and doing push-ups and crawling and chasing him on my hands and knees. I think people need to do this more often. It really lifts your mood just to have an animal in your life! Bryan and I will probably never have children, but we both love animals, so we will have an animal or two and those will be our kiddos. :-) They keep you active and having fun, for sure!!
Well, I am going to call it quits for this entry. Going to watch me some Joyce and enjoy the rest of my night. Have a fantastic night and be blessed! :-)
