I did my fifth consecutive day of MFP today. I kind of had a bit of a slip up with my eating and workouts yesterday, I was under on everything except carbs, and I did a workout to make up some of those numbers but I only got through about 45 minutes of the 60. The Zumba Toning didn't go too bad, I used 3-lb weights in place of the Toning Sticks since I haven't seen my toning sticks in at least 2 years. Then I went to do the Sentao (which is basically just moving and dancing around a chair) but it was going sooo fast I basically just felt I was running around the chair in circles and occasionally moving somewhat in tempo. I don't have a problem so much with Exhilarate and Rush, because they are going a bit slower and have easier moves.
But anyhoo, today has been much more on plan, where I did The Firm: Burn and Shape from the Ultimate Fat-Burning Collection. It was much easier to keep tempo on most of the sections and I got a killer ab workout in! I could feel my abs contracting like crazy and they feel tighter already!! And yes, sometimes I do look after a killer ab workout to see if they've grown in yet. I have no shame. I'll get there someday. :-)
My eating was under calories even before the workout (under by 17 on carbs, and 421 calories under), but I am wanting to add some more fruits and veggies to my diet!! I notice I eat a lot of pasta and I want to get out of my comfort zone a bit. I am thinking I will do a fruit smoothie in the morning; a salad of some sort in the afternoon to use up my leftover quinoa; and rice, collard greens, and vegan spicy sausage or Mexican chorizo. :-) That way I'm getting some fruits and veggies in and still eating very healthy meals. :-)
