My apologies for not posting yesterday. My best friend and I were on a lunch date for most of the day, and by the time I got home I just wanted to relax and get a workout in. I ended up doing The Firm Cardio Overdrive which was a little bit hard to keep up with but not as bad as some of the ones I have done in the past. I kind of wish I had an HRM since MyFitnessPal can be a little inaccurate and vague with calorie burn, but I believe I had a burn between 300-400 calories. And it paid off too, as I weighed in around 187.4 this morning. If I keep up the calorie tracking and exercising I shouldn't do too bad with the weight loss. :-)
The above photo is from my Cubs shirt that my dad bought me while he was in Chicago. :-) It is an XL and ran a little big, but my 231-lb frame could barely contain it. Plus it just fit me the wrong way, which is not hard for a shirt to do when you have lots of curves like I did.

This is the before and after shot from the two pictures. It's just amazing the difference in my body. Granted, the shirt does have a little stretch to it, but except for at the end where I grabbed it, it is pretty much slack. I weigh about 44 pounds less in the right-side pic, and it shows. My arms are smaller, my belly is smaller, and other parts I won't draw too much attention to are very much smaller. The shirt may have to go to Goodwill after I lose the rest of the weight, though I might take a final goal shot in it before it goes away. :-) Actually, I think a lot of my clothes will have to because I'm almost in a 14 and my smallest size is a 16. Well, except for one pair of Tripp pants that I think if I left the house in them my mom would grab me by the pant strap and drag me back in to change. :-D I know my grandma would have.
Today I am going to cook some vegan collard greens with either spicy sausage or chorizo. I saw the recipes and thought they both sounded great. I may have to make a double batch of the greens and use half for the sausage and half for the chorizo. I am also running to the library for a new workout DVD and something to read. My cousin recommended this book that she has been reading and I may try to see if they have it. I also need to make a grocery store run so I will have everything ready for meals this week. :-) I may watch the Puppy Bowl later as well, I don't really care very much about either team in the Super Bowl. When the Titans get in the Super Bowl again, I may change my mind.
Anyhoo, that's about it for me. Be sure to be blessed and enjoy the journey. :)
