Imagine my surprise when today ended up being the best day in a very long time. :-)
I have been having a hard week. Like, a horrible grumpy and tear-staining week. My mom and I have on-and-off times of getting along with each other and the past few days were definitely off-days. My mom is struggling with helping my grandpa, who lives 300 miles away and has a lot of health issues, plus taking care of her own health issues. Me, I inadvertently forgot two days worth of meds (well, only one of my supplements, but it was an important one!). I can be difficult to deal with on a good day, but my supplements and scrips are very intricately balanced. Remove one, and I become an emotional trainwreck, put them all together, no more trainwreck. It's weird that it works that way, but it's pretty much what happens.
My mom is not the type who will freely come forward and apologize for anything. I don't know if she just feels uncomfortable doing it or is upset for whatever reason and doesn't want to, but today she actually came downstairs (which she almost never does) and came to personally apologize for being negative for the last two days, and said that she knew I was capable of any job I did. I don't know what it is about that, but it set forth a whole chain reaction of awesome. :-)
I have decided that I want to become a Beachbody coach. Beachbody is a direct sales marketing company that markets DVDs, supplements, and other goodies. It is basically running my own business, and since I have numerous contacts through social media, both on the Girl on Fire page and my personal page, I am off to a good start. I absolutely adored Primerica, a company I worked for through 2012, but because of the particulars of my license it made it against the terms of my license to sell outside of my state (Insurance board's rule, not exclusively Primerica's). Because I've only been living in Missouri for four years, I have a very limited client base out of Missouri, and for that reason I ended up terminating my contract with Primerica. However, I absolutely loved how the company was set up, with emphasis on the personal development. And everyone was just so stinkin' nice, and wanted to help you the most that they could. :-)
I will have to save up a little bit of money, since I want to use the products I sell and obviously like with other companies you get a discount as an employee but don't get it for free. I am very geeked out to try the P90X3, I have been keeping my eye on that for some time and hope to save the money to buy the challenge pack. I am also trying a sampler of the Shakeology, which is pretty awesome from what I hear. :-)
Wow, I have rambled off at the mouth, but I'm glad you guys read it! I hope you all have a fantastic evening!
